Synopsis

Ambidextrous explores the relationship between body and mind, in the expression and communication of thought.  

Using both right and left hands, thought is given physical form as a set of words. The struggle of the non-dominant hand in forming these words, highlights their relationship with the body and their physicality - a set of lines, curves and shapes moulded by the hand. ‘My words fail me’ suggest that perhaps words are inadequate in expressing thought or perhaps wholly adequate as physical expression.
